For close to two decades, I’ve been writing about my favourite subjects – food, travel, social trends, popular culture and interesting people.

Recently, my pieces have appeared in Harper’s Bazaar India, Huffington Post, Sunday Mid-day, DNA,  economictimes.com and luxurylaunches.com.

Over the years, my articles have been featured in mainstream newspapers (The Times of India, the Economic Times, Hindustan Times, Mint Lounge, Mumbai Mirror, The Free Press Journal, etc) and magazines such as Men’s Health, Outlook Money, Black Book, Taj City Guide, Discovery Channel magazine India, and many more.

I have co-authored India’s first comprehensive wedding guide. Titled Wedding Belles, which was published by Random House.

I’m also familiar with writing in the digital space, having been Mumbai City Editor for Trendylicious (trendy.in), the forerunner of more recent daily email newsletters, which was run from Washington DC.

For seven years, until October 2014, I was founding editor of the Indian edition of Mother & Baby, the UK’s top selling and most prestigious title on pregnancy and parenting lifestyle.

I’m now savouring my freedom with more freelance writing projects, working on my first fiction title as well as micro-blogging and tweeting (@priyapathiyan) about subjects close to my heart.

Everything that I have seen and heard as a journalist helps to add a unique perspective to the bespoke cultural and culinary tours that I regularly curate for discerning visitors to Mumbai.
